About Us
The Canton Choral Society is a non-profit, community-focused organization open to adult residents of Canton and surrounding towns. The Society is dedicated to fostering enthusiasm and accessibility to a variety of music types. Founded in 2003 by Crosby Goshgarian Jr., the Society has performed at numerous civic and private events.
Our Mission is to deliver high quality choral musical programs that help foster enthusiasm and accessibility to a wide range of audiences. In addition, we strongly support music education through a variety of scholarship and vocal performing opportunities.

Founder and Artistic Director
Crosby Goshgarian Jr.
Crosby Goshgarian Jr., business entrepreneur, has extensive education and experience in both business, and in the performing arts. Crosby is the president and owner of Premium Plus Concierge Services. Crosby’s personal and professional experience has inspired him to dedicate his business to providing exceptional care and services to a wide-range of clients with busy and demanding lifestyles. In addition to his business, Crosby is also the founder and artistic director of the Canton Choral Society, an SATB choral ensemble which performs locally.
He is also a frequent featured soloist of CCS. Crosby can also be seen performing as a bass soloist in the Metro South area of Massachusetts. He is currently singing at Trinity Episcopal Church Newton Centre MA. Additional performance credits include Faure’s Requiem with the Canton Choral Society and Needham Congregational Chancel Choir, staff bass soloist and sectional leader of St. Paul's Parish Choir in Harvard Square Cambridge MA, and bass soloist and section leader of the Presbyterian Church in Needham, MA. Crosby also performs with his accompanist at various senior living residences.Theatrical credits include the role of Franz in New Bedford Festival Theatre’s 2014 production of The Sound of Music, the role of Joe Boyd in the Canton Community Theater’s 2005 production of Damn Yankees among others. B.A Business Management, Cum Laude, University of Massachusetts with a minor in Music thru Boston Conservatory. Continuing Education: Opera Workshop, Conservatory Camerata at New England Conservatory. Voice studies with Wesley Copplestone, Boston Conservatory, Dr. James Houghton, Professor Emeritus, Boston University.
